New physics, battle effect optimization, combat UI editor, 6 campaign levels, plus new tech: 6×8 Drone Bay, High Energy Laser, Rotating Arc Shields.

September Update

Greetings, Pilots-Engineers!

This is Captain Technician with a new development report. We have prepared the following improvements for the next deployment (this version is currently available on Android and iOS; the Huawei version goes live in about a day or two):

Physics

  • New realistic center-of-mass calculations that significantly influence ship rotation dynamics.
  • The "engine rotational power scales with distance" bonus now scales from the center of mass instead of the main ship core.
  • Maximum speed is no longer universal — it now depends on your ship's mass and engine power configuration.

Optimization

  • Optimization of all battle visual effects, including explosions and bullet trails.
  • Significant missile performance optimization.

UI

  • Improved Main Menu look on tablets and iPads.
  • Two new Lateral Button alternatives: Lateral Slider and Rotating Lateral Slider.
  • Battle UI Editor — customize the position and scale of most combat buttons.
  • New "Center of Mass" visualization button in the hangar.

Campaign expansion

  • 6 new campaign levels.
  • Introduction of a new mission type.

Technologies

  • Regular Drone Bay 6×8 — deploys impressive 5×7 drone formations.
  • High Energy Laser — devastating laser weapon with area-of-effect damage.
  • Rotating Arc Shields — unlocked by defeating the new campaign levels.
