- New Pilot Level System with improved earnings progression
- Pilot Statistics tracking: damage dealt, ships destroyed, and more
- Coilgun — advanced modular weapon system
- Simplified armor descriptions, new 2×2 armor variant, 2 new armor types
- Camera maximum zoom distance slightly reduced (compensated by 2 new radar technologies extending camera zoom)
- UI improvements: variable mirror axis, expandable ship stats
